Gail Thomas of Hampshire County is a Straw Dog member. Her poems appear in many journals and anthologies, and she has published four books. Among her awards are the Charlotte Mew Prize for Odd Mercy, the Narrative Poetry Prize from Naugatuck River Review, and the Massachusetts Center for the Book’s “Must Read” for Waving Back.
