Holding a Bookstore Event Best Practices for Authors
February 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Congratulations! Your book is due for publication. Now what? Whether you have a publicist or you’re representing yourself, this workshop will offer tips and advice on how to increase your chances of having an author event at an independent bookstore, and making it a success. You will learn what to say and what to avoid in an introductory email to events coordinators. This workshop will be your roadmap to navigate the event program, cultivate relationships, and make the most of this culmination of your hard work.
Join Straw Dog Writers Guild with editor and teacher Angelique Tung for this craft workshop “Holding a Bookstore Event – Best Practices for Authors” on Sunday, February 16 from 1:00-2:30pm via Zoom. Please register for this event. Register HERE.
