Every 4th Reader is Listening: Getting Your Book into Their Ears

November 18, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Audiobook workshop

Audiobook workshopNarrator Scott Ellis shares, “As an audiobook narrator and retired teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage more people with audiobooks. I am looking forward to being with your group to walk through the entire process of audiobook production: from searching for the right narrator on the right platform, understanding the lingo used in the industry especially as it relates to pricing and royalties, the step by step process of how to vet narrators, what your responsibilities are as the author and answering all your many questions except, “Why is the sky blue?” and “What is the meaning of life?””

Join Straw Dog Writers Guild for this craft workshop on Saturday, November 18, 10:30-12noon at the Athol Public Library and learn about how to turn your written book into an audiobook. This will be a hybrid event. Please register through the Athol Public Library.
