SUMMARY:Three Poets: A Reading and Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Please join Robin Becker\, Jan Freeman\, and Ellen Miller-Mack for a poetry reading and conversation. We’ll take up a range of themes and approaches—to family life\, the natural world\, the challenges of intimacy and loss\, and living in community with others. A lively Q & A will follow\, and we’ll have books to sell and sign. \n \nEllen’s first poetry collection\, WHEN I WAS A GRATEFUL MAMMAL (Headmistress Press) is the 2025 winner of Sappho’s Prize in Poetry. Her poems have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals\, and recently appeared in Brooklyn Rail\, Crab Orchard Review\, Gargoyle\, North American Review\, The Patterson Review\, Ploughshares\, Poetry\, Salamander\, Tar River\, and other publications.
